These terms govern your use of the Khula Ekasi website and platform operated by Khula Foundation NPC. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Khula provides tools to register, manage, map and report on spaza shops and related operations. Features and availability may change as the platform evolves.
2. Accounts & access
Access to the platform is granted by role. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the platform only for lawful, authorised purposes related to shop management and formalisation.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its data.
- Only submit data you are authorised to provide, and keep it accurate.
4. Data & privacy
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any personal information about shop owners or third parties.
5. Intellectual property
The Khula name, branding, platform and content are owned by Khula Foundation NPC or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
6. Availability & changes
We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
7. Limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Khula Foundation NPC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
